Map Routes (Legend):
• Yellow: Route from Florence or Bologna to Montevarchi (closest railway station to Villa Carvarcine)
• Pink: Route from Montevarchi to Villa by car or taxi (near Gaiole in Chianti, 1 km away)
• Green: Excursion to Rubycon river and the small country of San Marino
• Blue:The Rubicon river (some call it a stream and spell it Rubycon or Rubicone)

Once you get to Montevarchi, you'll want to get a short ride over to the Villa Cavarcine by Gaiole in Chianti. The Villa sleeps 22 people total, so if we have more than 22 guests, we will have to move some of us into the Gaiole in Chianti village to some additional nice apartment rentals and/or hotel rooms. I can also email you additonal rental information.

Costs: Currently the cost per guest is $395, and we are limited to about 10 guests in the Villa Cavarcine, but additional guests may find cheaper (more affordable) accomodations in apartments nearby. This price does not include food or transportation.
